Javairo Dilrosun is an attacking midfielder who started playing football at ASV Arsenal (Amsterdam), on the pitch right next to the Olympic Stadium. He then moved to Ajax's academy and eventually, in 2014, to Manchester City's youth programme. In 2018, Dilrosun made a switchr to Hertha BSC and debuted in the Bundesliga with an assist. Within two weeks, he scored his first goal (against Wolfsburg) and in that same period then national coach Rondald Koeman selected Dilrosun for the Dutch squad for the UEFA Nations League matches against France and Germany.

Dilrosun is an exceptional athlete. Fast, explosive. Exponent of the “New Wave”. A hard working player, with a high intensity and super speed acceleration, yet very technical on the ball and with a good first touch. He has an excellent crossing pass,  but also performs high end dribbling skills when he is in a one-to-one situation. He also takes corners. He smiles a lot and has a good character overall. Sober, confident, and relaxed.

“I don’t want to be seen as a talent anymore, but acknowledged as a good player. This season will be very important to force a real breakthrough.”
